The Capitol Buiilding

Washington D. C. is such a wonderful town the dolls ran off for a visit if you run into them while you are in Washington till them to have a good time and be sure to drive home safely . We have had a lot of snow back in Ohio . I have been busy working on their website and I am sure they well like to read some of my changes when they return . I am even honoring the cowboys up on it . The cowboys and Indians did a lot to make our country great and their good has lived years after they have died .

We have had a really awful time with snow back here in Ohio thought I would show you who I get to shovel my snow . I recreated this doll because I have a great belief that dolls should look like us we are tall ,thin, short, fat, male ,female, young ,old ,black, white and oriental . Oh my poor achimg back if you like this artwork visit my website http://www.dollslikeus.com I love dolls fortunatly we are having a short warming spell in Ohio right now .

This was my mothers father Richard Stephens He died young saving two other people from drowning . This picture is a gift from God when my mother was dying someone in New England named Woodruff who had this picture returned it to my Uncle Eddy who raised my mom after her parents and grandparents died uncle eddy was dying at the time two . This picture was in my great grandmother house and dissappeared after she died my mom got to see this picture before she died . My mom use to talk about how much her parents loved one another my grandparents were first cousins . They loved one another their whole lives she didn't take her kids after he died she elected to give her children to her in laws to raise they were also her aunt and uncle mom said her grandmother were sisters .

Grandpa Stephens was a carpenter and so was he's dad to girls were drowning he went into the water to save them they both jumped on he's back he went under hit he's head on a rock they lived he dies . Grandpa recieved the carneige hero medal for he's life .
